‘The Funeral’, a comic book by Barnaby Richards, was launched at The Hut restaurant in Falmouth, Cornwall on Thursday 6^th May 2004. As a result of the publication, Barnaby was invited as a guest speaker at the ICA’s ‘Comica’ comic book festival in June, where he took part in a panel discussion. The discussion, chaired by Paul Gravett, was entitled ‘Fresh Faces, Inky Fingers’. The prominent figures speaking at ‘Comica’ this year included Lewis Trondheim and Chris Ware.
